The Time Isn't Right

Magazine

Above i have placed my Magazine advert to promote DanO's new Album "The Time Isn't Right". I have used PhotoShop to take the photo of the car, cropping it down to the right size. I then boosted the saturation and brightness levels so that a more golden and bold look. Over all after adding titles and star ratings to create a more advert feel, i believe that it now gives off a very high end advert for a professional artist

Above i have placed the CD cover, which the magazine advert is promoting. I've used the same background photo to allow for a continuity theme to move through the poster and the CD cover to allow for a recognizable artist/image association. Continuing this theme i also used the same title style and colours to show the artist name, album name, track listings and the copyright text at the bottom. All together i believe it shows a bold, colourful and eye catching image that on shelves would stand out and appear to be of high end simple design.

Questionnaire Results

From the graphs above i can see that most people were seeking a concept based music video, that contained an audio-visual connection within. Therefore i feel i will achieve this by trying to link the words with the visual, an example can be the songs title "The Time isn't Right", i feel a way to make this connection is to show a clock in the film showing a passing of time. 

I also found that artist focus is not a major order for the audience, so in the film i will have the major player and then a few extra's to pass of the concept video and to create the story line element that the audience appear to seek.
